Adam Tothpal has gained 10+ years’ experience in international business environment. Ha started off his professional career as a consultant at a governmental support institution (ITD Hungary) specializing in international trade development and investment promotion, then was promoted to head a regional office. His key responsibility was to manage foreign direct investment (FDI) projects as well as exploring marketable export commodities of local SMEs and large enterprises to support their entry to the global market.
He continued his professional career at the Trade and Investment Department of the British Embassy in Budapest as a Trade Advisor focusing on medical devices, healthcare, pharma and environment sectors. His main duties included mapping out business opportunities, providing bespoke consultancy on export procedures to UK companies as well as developing and executing go-to-market strategies. Having gained experience in economic diplomacy, he was then employed by a US-owned contact lens manufacturing multinational company as a Procurement and Project Manager chiefly working on an ERP implementation project.
From his early career years, Adam is considered a target-driven, business-oriented and customer-focused personality. He joined CNA Hungary as a Business Development Consultant in 2017. Since joining the company, he is actively taking part in selection processes of top managers with confident use of so-called executive and direct search techniques. Adam being a passionate engager, he is constantly building high-profile business contacts in various industries with a special focus on FMCG, production, pharma and energy. He is a regular representative of CNA Hungary at various business meet-ups e.g. trade shows, networking events of the American and British Chambers of Commerce in Hungary and at other business-related conferences.
