Ajay is the Country Manager for CNA International –India and is currently based in Delhi. He advises clients in Industrial, Fintech, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Energy sectors on c-suite and executive leadership talent strategy. Ajay has spent considerable time in the Real Estate & Industrial space helping early stage and established organisations transition from legacy businesses to next generation technology led capabilities. He also works extensively with private equity firms to meet their operational leadership, advisory and board level leadership needs.
Ajay has been successful in several CXO appointments because of his intrinsic understanding of working of the industries both at plant and business level. He has helped many reputed industrial houses in scouting of talent from start up phase and later ramping it up with leadership positions in its growth trajectory which has helped him build long standing client relationships. He brings with him multi-faceted management experience from real estate, BFSI, Retail and luxury goods. His cross- industry experience has translated into strong business acumen and a highly developed insight into leadership and talent. He has developed expertise in managing complex domestic and cross border searches and has developed long standing client relationships.
Ajay has been in executive search since 2006 when he helped establish Stanton Chase in Delhi and successfully created Real Estate, Construction and Infrastructure practice. His previous experience has been in luxury goods/ specialty retail which has given him an innate understanding of high end luxury segments of consumer goods industry. In recent times he was a Partner in a Global Executive search firm where he turned around its operations and contributed to the firm’s thought leadership and performance.
Ajay is an alumnus of Delhi University and has earned his MBA degree from SIMS, Pune, India.He is a certified leadership assessment professional and also serves as regional lead in Industrial and Automotive practices.
Ajay is a passionate wildlife enthusiast. His other interest include motorbike riding, working on mechanical projects and playing adventure sports. In his free time, he restores old things.
